Me Myself And……………….

What better way to put forth my views on the issues concerned to me than the conflict they arouse in me. This series will be a unique way of reflecting my thought process through two of my alter egos: Shanu and Rahul. Both represents me but are generally convinced by entirely opposite ideas. So, let me again venture into an unknown territory.

Banku and Bhootnath Authorspeak: I was going through my old files when I came across this one. I had written it long back when I saw ‘Bhootnath’ and happily forgot about it. Thus, unfortunately it never saw the Blogworld. This post has taken few potshots on some of the best people I have been with and I know that they won't mind this narration. Now that I am a little busy to write anything of significance this may act as filler. I do not know whether I will ever continue with the narration though. Year 2060: Banku and Bhootnath are sitting on a rooftop staring at the beautiful sky. The vast expanse of sky has them captivated when suddenly Banku is bugged by a childish curiosity. Banku: “Bhootnath, tell me how these stars are formed?” Bhootnath: (Obviously forgetting the reasons behind the formation of stars, fumbled to reply. You can not blame him. New Story: Shamisha - Part 4

‘What has happened?’ asked the rider. ‘Don’t know. The car went dead abruptly.’ said Mithilesh. ‘How come you guys are on this road? This is generally not used during this hour.’ the pillion looked suspiciously at us. I noticed that both of them were carrying guns. ‘We were getting late for a party. This is the shortcut and so we took it. Who knew that we would be trapped in this way?’ Arvind explained. He fixed it and the car came back to life. ‘The area is not safe. Go and I do not want to see you guys a mile within this area in future.’ the rider said showing the arm he was carrying on his shoulder. He appeared kind enough...
Damn Machines Suddenly a message flashed on my computer screen: “Are you the One?” “The one? Which one?” I asked. It was strange for someone to message in green (but considering the growing concern for environment and increasing trend to ‘go green’, I took it as a fad). The screen flashed again “I mean, Are you Shanu?” “Yes.” “Run” “Run. Where? Why?” “This is the problem with you researchers. You ask a lot of irrelevant questions. Run. There is a danger to your life.” “Danger. What kind of danger?” “Is there a need to probe on every thing? Just run.” “But where?” “Again a question. When will your kind learn the lesson? You are wasting time. Run anywhere. Just move out of your office. We will send backup team to protect you.” I left the chair immediately and scanned the floor for my immediate boss. He was nowhere to be seen. I took a deep breath and started to run (Well it was actually a rushed and cautious walk). There was a sense of déjà-vu in the way the entire episode happened. Prob...
