Mosquito Express Report: Carnage in Noida

From our Correspondent

In what is being described as the most heinous assault on our existence in last 5 years a Homo sapiens is accused of slaughtering 30 of our comrades in the Indian city of Noida. While the details of the incident is still unavailable, our sources report that the Homo sapiens who goes by the name of Rahul Shanu used savage force to decimate one of our food gathering troops. This unprovoked act of terror on a peace group has outraged the administration and has given impetus to the demands of a strategy relook at our co-existence formula with the humans. ‘Dui’, the spokesperson of the Protection and Upliftment of the Mosquito Rights, says – ‘While the official figure to the death is 30, we have evidence that it is much more than that. We have been advocating the relook in our policies for quite some time now. These individual acts of terror against us are becoming more frequent and we need to evolve new mechanism to protect our race.’ A government official on the condition of anonymity said – ‘This is a serious issue. It is a direct attack on our identity. We have issued orders to take appropriate action against the perpetrator of this crime.’

Our interracial strategy expert ‘Wui’ opines – ‘Though the current strategy against humans seems medieval it has been quite effective till now. It is only recently that we have been witnessing some cracks appearing in the arrangement. It is high time that we update our system.’ Political analyst ‘Lui’ elaborates – ‘For quite some time now, we have based our policies on the greed and inefficiencies that underlines the human existence. We have provided ample opportunities to the human civic authorities to swindle funds on our name – defunct fogging machines with their municipalities is just an example of this strategy. And we have been benefitted so far by relying on their greed and lacksaidal attitude– large open drains, our hot spots in many of their settlements, is a result of this behavior. While this has been working well, I do not see a long term possibility of continuing with the same. Some rash individual acts like this can open a floodgate of future assaults on us. Man is not known to have a particular liking with the concept of co-existence and I think the current administration would have to take a more proactive approach in dealing with them or else they would face rough weather in coming days.’ On this chief military strategy and leading scientist ‘Kui’ divulge – ‘Humans have been far behind us in technological evolution. They forget that we have a civilization of over millions of years – we have survived since before the age of dinosaurs. They spend years to find new formula of mosquito repellants and each time we outwit them. Anticipating a possible confrontation with them, we are developing a new disease with the capability to do maximum damage on their race.’

P.S: The virtual lack of measures by the civic authorities to deal with mosquitoes in most of our cities / villages anguishes and concerns me. This post just voices that concern.

Hi,
I'd like to inquire about doing a sponsored blog post - about 150-300 words that talks a little bit about Immigration Visas and links back to our site http://rapidvisa.com. We are a immigration visa company and thought we might be a good fit for your readers/visitors on http://rahulshanu.blogspot.com/

Here's a list of some blog post titles we've done in the past:
- How to Get Your Marriage Visa
- Things To Know Before Applying For Your Immigration Visa
- How to Get Help With Your Immigration Process

Our budget is around $15 for the post. Is this something you'd be open to?

Also we might be interested in a small banner ad if the price is right.
Our budget is $40/year - something like this:

Let me know if you'd be open to either or both of these.

Also if you have some other sites just send them over and we might be interested in doing a sponsored post on there as well!

Regards,

Phil

Brand & Consumer Decision Making – Part 2

Why would you even want to read this? Because this is the second and last installment of our discussion on how the concept of Brand fits in the EAR model of Consumer Decision Making. If you have read the first part then you would not want to miss the conclusion. If you have not, still it is worth delving into a matter which poses daily challenge to marketers across organizations and geographies. While I would try to briefly put all the key takeaways of previous articles in this article as well, it would be great if you visit the three previous articles written in this series viz. EAR Model, Brand, Brand & Decision Making – P1 to get a detailed understanding on the topic. My Approach: From last few articles, we know that while making any purchase decision, a consumer, evaluates the available options on a mix of three parameters: Emotional (E), Aspirational (A) and Rational (R) . The weightage given to each of these parameters are dependent on many factors including ...
Films of 2008 Part I: My top 10 Some films listed here may not be of Indian origin/ production but are relevant in Indian context. The ordering is in no particular order. You may rearrange them according to your preferences. A Wednesday: This film vents out the frustration of ‘Common Man’. Pitted against each other the two stalwarts of Indian film Industry, Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher elevated the movie multifold. Jimmy Shergil shined in a brief role. First time director Neeraj Pandey, weaved an interesting tale into an engaging screenplay. The film had its share of flaws but it was able to highlight the message it wanted to deliver. Jodha Akbar: A magnum opus which could have been a classic was reduced to an above average cinematic experience by the dragging and long screenplay. But the movie had its moments. The sheer chemistry between the lead pair made the love story engaging and endearing. The opulent sets and clothes brought the desired period look. A R Rahma...
Dil Chhata Hai Author Speak: The credit to the title goes to my colleague and friend Sayan. Also, let me warn you at the very beginning that things can go horribly wrong in this small piece of ‘art’ – after all this is my first attempt to narrate a tale of love. The narration is based on real events with suitable changes to cater to the tastes of targeted audience. It is amazing what nature can do to the feelings and emotions of people. And weather plays an important role in this ‘buzzing business’ of nature. Cinema (especially Indian cinema) has exploited this particular aspect of nature very well. Thus there is a thunderstorm with lightening in the background when the hero is angry (or for that matter when Bhisma is taking his ‘famous’ oath) and dark clouds generally refers to something bad which is going to occur (Hollywood has mastered this art with its Sci-fi movies) and sunlight coming out amidst cloud shows ray of hope. Also a winter (with snowy weather) generally refers to the...
